Larvaciding

Larvaciding (Mosquito Breeding Control)

Larvaciding is a critical component in any mosquito management program, designed to target and eliminate mosquito larvae before they mature into adults. This proactive approach significantly reduces the mosquito population at the source and helps prevent the spread of mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue, Zika, chikungunya, and malaria.

Our team conducts detailed site inspections to identify common mosquito breeding grounds, including stagnant water in drains, construction sites, flower pots, water tanks, septic tanks, gutters, and containers. Once identified, we apply environmentally friendly larvicides that are highly effective yet safe for use around humans, animals, and aquatic life.

Depending on the environment, we use a combination of biological and chemical larvicides, including granular, liquid, or oil-based formulations, ensuring maximum reach and effectiveness. The larvicides work by disrupting the development of larvae into pupae, thereby preventing them from becoming biting adults.

Larvaciding is often conducted in tandem with fogging and source reduction activities, forming a comprehensive mosquito control strategy. This service is essential for government agencies, town councils, schools, construction zones, residential neighborhoods, and commercial facilities that require strict vector control compliance.
